I am trying to use the following macro, (cut and pasted from the thread by RedSoxDieHard)

When I get to the /nextcraftingstage step...

It says your session has ended. I am NOT standing next to a public crafting tool. And I have tried different capitalization etc for this line, to no avail. Can someone please give me some insight?

Thanks,

Jayded

/ui action toolbarSlot 01;
/selectdraftSchematic 29;(my location for wind survey tool....this is where you have to think and count....if it's not wind survey tool that pops up, CNTRL+D, count up or down from what you tried to make and adjust until you have wind survey tool)
/pause 5;(This is where you double click aluminum 3 times, pretty easy unless you have Bear Paws or your mouse hand is on your girls breast)
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;(maybe you need to chuck this line in once more if you're a retard and craft next to a public crafting machine that brings up experimentation)
/createPrototype practice no item;
/createPrototype practice no item;
/pause 4;
/ui action toolbarSlot02;(this skips the sucker to the GCT[general crafting tool] in F3)
/selectdraftSchematic 29;
/pause 5;

I'm having the same problem as you. Tried a bunch of things and it just keeps kicking me out with that message... So I'm doing it by hand until someone tells me whats wrong :S...

I also had someone suggest i use /nextCraftingStage instead, and I also went into Ctrl O and turned off confirm crating actions.

This still did not fix the problem.

First, the "crafting stage ended" system message is normal when using a crafting macro. Bring up the xp monitor or just open the skill window to check for the xp gain.

If you're not getting any xp, check the following:

1) Are you next to a crafting station? If you are (and using a specialized tool of the same type) then there's an additional crafting stage for experimentation. This requires a third /nextcraftingstage command.

2) Do you get any xp when hand crafting? There's a bug that crept in with publish 6 where the xp value doesn't go up on the client side. Don't worry, it is still being tracked on the server. Try logging out for 10m or so then logging back in to see if you've got the xp gain.

And re-reading your post, it looks like you're definitely not in #1, but I'll leave it up in case anyone else is seeing that problem.

I've found that both /nextCraftingstage and /nextcraftingstage (or even just /nextc) works equally well. I think the capitalization isn't important for actual / commands, but it may be important for the parameters of / commands. So in "/ui action toolbarSlot" you could use /ui, /Ui, or /UI, but the "toolbarSlot" parameter is case sensitive.

side note on knowing what number schematic to use, start with the first item in the schematic list on the ctrl+d page. The first one in the upper left is 00. Count left to right from there, end the guessing game...

Thanks for all the help, interestingly enough, although I am NOT standing next to a crafting station that I can see, nor did i get the prototype box when i manually crafted, adding in a 3rd /nextcraftingstage helped.

Thanks for the input guys, problem solved.
