Hello everyone,
To my understanding, using a crafting macro is 'legal' within the game, as long as no external programs are being used. So, I decided to try to get one to work.... I have read the forums and used them as an example to create a very simple macro to start with:
First part works fine...
/ui action toolbarSlot08;
/select 142;
I select the resources and press F2 to start the second part...
/nextCraftingStage;
/nextCraftingStage;
/createPrototype practice no item;
/createPrototype practice no item;
I am not standing next to a crafting station for this test as well...
When I press F2 and start the second half, I always get: "The crafting session has ended!" and I lose the resources?
This has happened before and after the patch and I cannot figure out why it is doing this? If it is because they no longer want people to macro the profession, that's fine, but it seems like others are still able to do this... Please shed any light on this that you can. Thank you for the help
.

My apologies, you are entirely correct. I thought that it was dying and I was just losing the resources
. You are right, I am gaining the XP... Is there any explanation as to why it does that?
