So, recently I surrendered all my crafting abilities and did something else for a while.
I found i missed being a crafter too much and so I remastered Artisan and Architect.
What the hell is wrong with you people??
If you don't like Artisan, get the hell out! Go be a Temploiter.
We are a support class.
Don't try to ruin a proffession that others enjoy, simply because you can't find the schematic for the "YOU WIN BUTTON".

Riiiiight.
Well i agree about one thing - combat IMHO is getting very boring. So I have just created a new crafting character.
I love being an artisan (even though I can't sell anything). It seems to have much more meaning than pressing my F5 key to kill mobs hours on end. It's tough deciding what elite crafting profession to go with though. Hmm Armorsmith or Chef... or maybe weaponsmith.
Bring on the Space Expansion! How many people want to be a shipwright?
I have one concern - I'm guessing that demand for armour and hand weapons is going to hit an all-time low when the expansion comes out... I mean is anybody going to even bother fighting MOBs on the ground once they have a spaceship?
Hopefully there will be some new foods out there for chefs to craft that will assist in piloting skills somehow, same with pilot suits that tailors can craft.
I'm sure droid engineers will be given the opportunity to craft items that shipwrights require. Weaponsmiths may also be given a similar opportunity.
So where does that leave armorsmith? Maybe they can help with ship's shields?
Just some observations. Shipwright will be very popular indeed.

I just can't keep it
This Box isn't mine
This shell, it has changed
Now it won't shine
I have lost myself
My brook is aflame
I can't find the truth
I feel only shame
My thread is unravled
My path has been lost
My way often traveled
Has been schorched and degassed
Everything is new
Everything is strange
I once had a few
But now its all changed
Now I have no-one
Nobody to keep me sane in this cage
The bars hold me back
I cannot reach for one to love
I have become invisible
I watch them fly away, this dove
For me to care for someone who cares for me
Well, this simply cannot be
This would go against things
This would undo all time
Requited love, it seems simply a crime
So I say my goodbyes
I am fading away
All those I knew
Do not see me this day
I sink into the abyss
Never to have a last kiss.....
This Box isn't mine

Ok,I was a little po'd when I wrote the first post here.
I logged into the Artisan forum after not logging in for a week or so and the whole first page was full of people whining about harvester certs.
'get with the program' you say.... well hows this?
Master Artisan ( some usefull schematics, not great but really nice if you go elite crafter)
Master Entertainer ( new song, dance and instrument, not great but nice if you go elite entertainer)
Master Brawler (cool ability, but overall a booster box for elite brawler)
Master Marksman (eh, not too bad, helps cap speed a bit faster)
Master Scout (stepping stone to ranger/BH)
Master Medic (not bad, stepping stone to doc or CM)
Novice proffesions are not intended to be the best. They are intended to help you along the paths of the elite proffessions.
So, go look in google for your next idiotic idea.
How's that for 'off the beaten path' ?

Artisan is starting profession, STARTING. Its not supposed to be a big money maker or have lots and lots of important items it it, its a stepping stone to bigger and better things. Its a low lever crafting class, its not supposed to be "uber."
