Knowing all of the upcoming events in my life, I've found that my Galaxies experience may not last forever. So...instead of grinding the last few months that I might be playing, I've entertained the thought of making my Jedi a crafter. Maybe attract customers by spreading my store as the one and only owned by a Jedi. I really want to make my Star Wars experience fun and have time for the social aspect of the game considering this is a MMORPG. So...

Any ideas or suggestions? I think this could be a really unique version of a Jedi character, and thats what I want. I don't want to grind months upon months to become the newest FOTM. I want my character to be someone who is remembered for not taking the path most traveled, whether it be stupid or not.

So if anyone has constructive ideas to add, please do so, and thanks for your time.

in the early years of anakin skywalkers life he was somewhat of an artisan...repairing things and building droids(C-3P0) and such..i think it would be cool to see a jedi that isnt a combat one...if you did this i would give you 5 stars for being original

Thanks for the support. I hope to try and do this, many people will probably wonder why I wasted the months grinding to get it just to turn around become a crafter again, but I feel likeveering a courseaway from the mainstream.

Personally, I plan to get to Padawan to unlock my 2nd character and then return to full-time crafting without ever altering my template.

I'll save the lightsaber to use on annoying customers.

Crafting is a worse grind for Jedi Exp than combat. It takes a Master Tailor 5000 ribboned shirts on practice to get the first box and from there the exp ammunt needed increase. I bet by the time I reach a Level 4 crafting box i would have ground Tailor about 30 times.

I want the FS assembly and FS experimentation. I don't think that I have the paitence to grind more than that.

Some misinformed individual told me that the accurracy on my laser rifles is poor (it is not). So I replied: "You aren't using the force to aim???"

One cool thing about being a jedi merchant is that you can put your jedi robes on your vendor. Looks pretty cool to see an NPC vendor wearing jedi robes. You can't get them back from the vendor though. I think you can get more robes somehow, but I don't know how. Maybe you have to be a knight. Either way, the robes are pretty worthless. If you're going to be a crafter, you're better off to put them on the vendor for uniqueness factor than to keep them to wear. Just remember it's a 1 shot deal (unless you can figure out how to get more robes). Good luck.

DE exp converts 5 to 1 or 8 to 1 i forget but its pretty easy making frame units all day. something you can do inside the village if you wanted to. not to mention you bank around 200k of droid exp so you wont find yourselfmaxing it unexpectedly and having to venture back to the village when you dont want to. theres a reason why the sudden explosion of DEs across all galaxies, ppl who dont actually make droids or know anything about making droids. needless to say i dont think its a bad grind but using only one method of course is slower than using several.
