Does anyone know if the optional Component (Energy Distributor) effects the effectiveness of the Micro Sensor Suite? Meaning that if I leave it out of the MSS, will the max effectivness percentage go down?
I know that the higher the subcomponent effectivness percentage, the better the max MSS percentage.

I didn't think you could leave any sub-comps out.... I have found that the better quality sub-comps you have the better the max MSS percentage.
Which leads me on to my Question I was about to post. What is the Highest Quality anyone has managed or knows of for a Control Unit?

I did some calculations and the best experiment I can get on a Control Unit with my resources is 99% (99.22% more specifically). I used these numbers in my calculations:
Resource OQ
Metal 995
Polymer 990
LGO 998
Copper 979
In. Gas 994
Resource OQ
Metal 995
Polymer 990
LGO 998
Copper 979
In. Gas 994

Nice... I notice that Control Units give a Quality number. I have yet to see one above 3. What did those resources yield?

Every single component that goes into a MSS (especially when used for Crafting Stations) has an effect on the MSS rating, even if the component has no visible rating. It was proven a few weeks ago that each item for a Crafting Station for example, while only the Control Units have a rating, when not experimented on dropped the CS rating down significantly. This includes Droid Storage Modules.
So, in a nutshell, even if you think it's not necessary... exp as high as you can for MSS's, on EVERYTHING.

That should be:
Metal: 998 OQ
Polymer: 990 OQ
LGO: 1000 OQ
Copper: 979 OQ
Inert Gas: 994 OQ
for highest recorded on Tempest mate.

the sub componets DO NOT effect the MSS % i have made them with total crap resources for the parts and no experimentation and gotton the same 90% as if i put in 99% subcomponets.. That stated the only reason why you would put 99% parts in them is if they are being used to make crafting stations. To my knowlege they are the ONLY thing that exp has any effect on the outcome. I know they dont do a thing in droids, weapons, or PSG's Soo unless you are making crafting stations you dont even need to experiment on them and you can use the worst resources and they wont have any effect on what your crafting.
I have experimented on these and every other Master lvl componet item and made things with the parts with experimenting on Decay, and OQ, Decay has no effect on anything, and OQ like i stated only effects crafting stations. All parts and the sub componets must be good to get a good rated station,,
