If someone has posted something that you feel you need to 1-star, that's all good. I've given a few out, none recently.
If you're so upset about something that I said that you feel the need to go back quite a ways and 1-star every post I made.... have the guts to send me a PM instead. There's no need to be that inconciderate and rude as to force someone rating down artificially like that. Especially since it's annonymous. If you think I gave you a 1-star and that's why you're doing this, well... you're probably wrong. You made a guess.
And don't just give this courtesy to me (as I would to you... ask around... I send PM's frequently), give it to everyone else. At some point they're going to point out who a 1-star Bandit is via a special symbol or rating that you won't be able to hide. Personally, I feel thatwho rated you should be visible if the user habitually rates a 1-star.If you want any credibility on these boards, you'll have a tough time of it once the new system is in place. A 1-star Bandit is never trusted, regardless of how good their ideas may be.
I do my damnest to help people on here, and give advice and input to the best of my ability. I don't put people down intentionally, flame, or be disrespectful. Don't be that way to me.
I've said my peace.

There is nothing i have found, other than advertising a Higher price for a LTB on auction, that i found deserves a 1-star, most post's have a point to them, i think people just choose to be lazy and use the 1-star function, without really reading the post, 1-starring will always be around, as there are always people who want to ruin others this way, but to me, it's whats in the post that interrests me, not the***** rating thats just my opinion, good post though, 1-star bandits, SHOULD be shot, repeatedly with a CDEF pistol

The way I always see it is if I've got myself a one star bandit that just means my argument makes sense and they can't come up with a response...

Ironically, I had only made 2 posts tonight that could be concidered in anyway inflamatory. The first was in a thread here on this forum, in which case I know exactly who did it. The other was a funny about Bush in the Shipwright forum (relating to the THE FIRST FIRESPRAY thread). There was one person who posted in support of Bush shortly after / during the 1-star episode, but I have confronted this person. There's even one person that may have reacted to my editing a post. I'm waiting for a PM back from them as I've sent one.
Either way, it's just a crappy thing to do.

Majority of the more vocal folks in the Droid Engineer Community have at one point or another picked up a 1-star bandit. One of these days, someone is going to get really bored and do a check on the past history of all of the posters in the DE forum and find our mysterious firend(s). It will be pretty obvious, since they will more then likely be the only person without a string of 1-star ratings.

I guess it just boggles me that someone would go back over a month and 1-star things.
I appreciate the kind words, my friends. Guess I just wasn't expecting this... kinda caught me off guard.
But, I guess that means in some way or another that I'm doing something right... I hope

it just shows how little time some people have.
I think that people that do the whole 1-star without comment are most likely of very low self-esteem.

Either very little time and low self-esteem...
Or they dislike the game and how it is working for them, and want to spread their displeasure...
Maybe they can't get what they want in game, be it their "final" professional choice or that uber item or whatnot...
Or, they really think us DE's suck and should go away...

I'd love to see how quickly people would change their minds of they lost their Level 6 Med. modules or droid crafting stations.

....not to mention their droid storage space.

They ought to have it so you can see a list of names of those that 1-star posts. Might slow some of them down; and at least reveal those just doing it for fun or spite.
Cheers,
Martek
