where to place a fusion ion generator?

so i have been looking at my survey tools and none of them seem to have a catagory for power

what am I missing?

its mineral survey tool, and you are probly on a planet that doesnt happen to have any in spawn,, it happens from time to time, and ive seen it last for a good week or 2 at the longest intervul between spawns,, thats why if you dont have enough stored power, wind mills can be a good back up. its allways in shift.

You need to use the mineral survey device to survey for radioactive material. If you can find a 80-90% concentration you'll be able to pull up enough power in a week to keep several extractors/factories running for quite some time. As was mentioned before there are times when there just isn't an activespawn of radioactive material.
