okay...let me try to understanding.

I use a crafting tool, stand next to the crafting station to experiment with the schema. On a successful one, it make me schema. I then need to "BUY" a factory to actually make the items from the schema?

Is there any other way I could use the schema w/o having to buy the factory? I really don't need mass production, I could make one at a time.

Use the create prototype button! That will create one item ofthe type you just experimented.
