I am a novis droid eng. and I am making things with my crafting station. I want to make schematics of the items that turn out well but when I try to use the crafting station to make a schematic I never get a choice to make one it always says making prototype. How do I make schematics for the items that I am making.

Good question i would also like to know the answer. Also sorry for being a noob, but what are schematics for. and what is experimentation?

You must use a specialized crafting tool as well as be near a specialized crafting station to make a schematic. Soif you want to make droid related things you will need a weapon/droid/general crafting tool and you should be standing by a weapon/droid/general crafting station, then you should get 3 options before the item is finalized: Create Prototype, Create Schematic, and Experiment. Experiment first, then create a schematic if its satisfactory.
