"Interesting" is a bit of an exaggeration. Artisans with Engineering I can build a creature habitat with a small amount of metal and a creature sample. Then anyone can take the creature habitat and "release" the animals out of it.

Animals are like butterflies and smaller little bugs. When you release them, you see some butterflies or whatever fly around you for a few seconds and then they are gone.

So basically, just destroy those samples from the lair, but keep checking because the eggs you sometimes find are useful in high end food items. The creature samples are worthless.

i just got a few creature samples and when i ex it i says artisan can do interesting things with them anyone know what?

"Yeah, dont you know? when you die your body emits a powerful form of radiation that penetrates all containers and crates, and pretty much anything and everything on you.

But have no fear! If you insure you get radiation protection on your items. The problem with that tho is that it only protects 99% of your items integrity."

Engineering 1 or 2 (or something..) lets you build a jar for the sampled creature, ...

Then you can release it.

Well, that is what the description of the item says. Never build it though.
