Can anybody tell me which harvester is better? I'm building on Tatooine which has two suns. It seems logical that solar would give me a better return. But, Tatooine also has occasional sand/wind storms. Do the wind harvesters crank out extra units during these storms?

solar cost more, but makes more.

Storms, suns, etc make no difference just the percentage, in my experience solar has been slightly easier to find. Proly just dumb luck.

Solar is better since it lets you 'make more' with fewer 'lots'

I agree with Viz ... I have switched completely to solar for the reasons given ... easier to find high concentrations ... and way more efficient use of my lots.

It is upgrade to wind.

Every harvester have small, medium and large. I think they call it personal, medium then heavy.

Except power. There is no small medium and large wind generator.

Just

Wind= small

Solar = medium

Fusion = Large

Funny thing is it is harder to find solar spot than wind spot. And fusion spot than solar spot. (But when fusion spot doescome in it is often much higher % than wind or solar)

I use one of each. Working out of Corellia, Kor Vella we have some wierd building zones which cause one or the other to be in pretty low concentrations in what I would consider a reasonable running radius of the city. I can usually get one on adecent concentation at any one time.

Just use your favorite mineral extrator on some radioactives. That'smy opinion. Solar and Wind resources seem to be in places that don'thavelots thatyou can build on due to terrain on the planets I frequent. Depends on the planet.
