I just recently started selling crates of electronics(GP mod,Memory Mod,Control Units, Etc etc...) but am having a hard time deciding how much to sell them for, so far the three I listed I have on the vendor for 4k a crate, I have seen some people sell as low at 2k a crate to as high as 25k a crate (25k? Thats insane I hope nobody is buying those, but I swear I saw that just today) The three I listed are the cheapest to craft so I will charge more for the others. How muchdo you all sell them for?

Only price I have ever seen for these is 3500. I also now list some at that price and have never sold one crate. I don't really care as I mostly list them on vendor simply for storage and then take them out when a batch of streetlights or torches needs to be run.

I wish I could find them at all. Nothing would make me happier than to be able to give up a few artisan boxes and still create droids.

Keylargodave, how much would you be willing to pay for a crate of electronics? That is, what would be a fair price to both you and the person making them? Another thought is, that there are some schematics I use that call for a droid storage module. Would a droid engineer perhaps be interested in trading electronics for storage modules?

I really haven't thought about a price. I go through quite a few making BH droids as well as other items. I belive the finaly tally was 47 schematics for DE require components in the master artisan box (insane). I'd have to sit down with the numbers to determine how much of a premium that I'd pay for the items and weigh it against the possibility of running short on material when it might cost me a sale.

I have been putting crates on my vendor and advertising them in the forums and they have been selling pretty good so far. Still at my price of 4k per crate and people dont seem to mind paying that.

I all ways charged 3k for a crate of 25 Electronic Components, except for the Micro Sensor Suite or which ever one uses several other components in its crafting.

A simple rule of thumb for components I use is only charge 3 per unit of resoures used.

If you do your own mining and only make bulk orders of the items you can make a pretty good profit at it. I know several times I walked out the store with 20 crates and delivered them for 50K, sometimes more when they decided I didn't charge enough for them.

I think my problem is finding somebody who can reliably supply the electronics as I go through a factory run about every 2 weeks. For example:

BH Seeker droid uses 2 EGP modules and 1 EMM
BH Probe droid uses 3 EGP's and 1 EMM


So to make factory runs of BH droids (I make 200 seekers and 100 probes every week and always sell out)

I would require 700 EGP's alone every week just for BH droids. Not to mention that these are commodity items for DE's and the makup is not high on them and buying crates would eat into an already meager profit.

The more I contemplate this, the more I feel about getting out of the BH droid business entirely.
