Thread: Generic crafting tools, useless now?
Should I just throw the crates of these I made many months ago away?
Didn't the weapon/droid/general tool replace it completely?
I am pretty sure they did but, just making sure I didn't miss something here.
Personally i think they should take the WDG and make it s WD tool. I mean given everything That I have seen that can be made with a Generic tool. They are things that you wouldn't experiment on anyhow? Or if you do it doesn't DO anything for the final product.
OK medics can use it to make a bio effect controller but you can make on of those in a food/chem so get one of those instead. Besides if your DON'T get a food/chem tool you cannot experiment on it anyhow?
Just a thought,

Ok, I thought the WDG tool thing was intentional and not a bug.
Personally, I hope they leave it that way and just do away with the generic tool.
Why do we need 5 tools when 4 will work fine?
Anyway, thanks for info. Guess I'll hold onto them and see if they fix the WDG bug. I hope not though.
Well, the WDG tool has always been better. Items with a complexity greater than 18 (there's definitely a cutoff, and I think that's the number) can't be made in a generic tool, and you can't experiment or create a schematic with a generic either.
Still, you should be able to get 75-100 for them, maybe more once they fix the "uber WDG tool" bug.
