Thread: Harvesters stopping randomly?

Just a quick question. I was once an artisan, and am picking it back up. I put down some mineral extractors and a wind harvester...they work fine while I stand beside them and watch them, but when I run between one and the other, or log for a while, they stop. They still read as "On" but aren't moving or doing anything. I have plenty of credits and power in them. Any ideas? Very frustrating. Thanks!

They're still working, it's just an animation bug that was squashed once but seems to have made a comeback.
It's been like this since at least the vehicle patch.

I don´t mind them not animating, just think a huge field of animating harvesters would probably cause alot ofchoppiness for some people.

Doubtful. The fact that they are not moving does little to frame rate. They are still being rendered completely. If they NEVER moved and were not intended to move, then the graphics could be tweaked so it COULD lower your framerate.
