All right, I've been trying to set up a vendor for my meager goods and resources for about three days, but I keep getting the "This vendor has not been initialized" error. I definitely initialize it after I've placed it and then I pay maintenance. I only have the third merchant box in the artisan tree, so does that maybe have something to do with it? I tried searching for this problems in the boards and I've asked a few pa members, but I haven't found a solution yet. Hopefully you guys can help.

I ran into this to. If you initialize, then try to use the vendor before putting funds in it, it bugs. I scrap the vendor, make a new one, initialize, pay maint, then it works fine.

If memory serves right i believe its that its placed to close to the wall? Someone can correct me if im wrong and im sure people will, lol.
If this doesn't work just place a couple.. and it will eventially work.. i di it 3 times before mine worked, but i did it before knowing about the closness to a wall thing.

I had this problem too and found a lengthy thread in the merchant forum (which i can't see now, but a wee search should turn it up for you).
There were a few suggested solutions to this but the one that worked for me was to create the vendor and then log out with it still in my inventory. When I logged back in and placed I had no problems with the initialising thing.

Also had the exact same problem. What worked for me was placing it, Ititializing it, then when I got the error I took all the furniture out of the house. Then I tried again and it worked. Just place the vendor down before your furniture and you'll be fun.. I don't know it's a weird bug that screws it up when things are too close.

Simple fix for this folks its easy.
Target your vendor the initialize..Once you initialize without taking the target off your vendor use the radial menu and go to use vendor. there ya go. Intialize then use vendor while leaving it highlighted.
