..... what is the maximum experimentation% possible for artisan ?

I am master artisan and Human . So this gives me 115% (or 11 experimentation points). I have become a declared citizen of a city with the "Research Center" perk . It was my understanding that the Research Center perk gave a crafter a certain boost to experimentation .

HOWEVER I am still at 115% for my artisan experimentation ..... what I had BEFORE I became a citzen of the city . So what gives ? Is artisan experimentation capped at 115% ? Does the bonus only apply to "elite" crafting professions like Armoursmith , Weapsmith etc or is my game just wacky ? Any and all info greatly appreciated .

The "Research Center" specialisation doesn't give you additional experimentation points, it enhances your chances of getting a Great or amazing result on experimentation by 15% (or so).

You can buy a an Artisan Experimentation Skill tape of +5 to get another experimentation point.

Additionally, you do not have to be a citizen (not that you wouldnt want to be for other reasons) of a research center to benefit from its bonus. You simply need to be in the specific city using a crafting station.
