Now that master artisan has a completely unique item - vehicles, with the ability soon to customize - it seems like perhaps the "doodad" schematics, which are components for items made by architects, droid engineers, weaponsmiths, and armorsmiths, may no longer be the defining feature of the master artisan, nor are those schematics necessary to make the master artisan box valuable. Perhaps these schematics should be moved to Engineering 4.
Cons:
- This dries up a potentially lucrative market for crates of these little items. These items will not be valuable to make if everyone with engineering 4 can make them. Dealers in these items will be out of business.
- This takes some value out of being a master artisan, and there may not be enough content in the master box.
- It lessens interdependence and may end some lucrative business arrangements between Master Artisans and DE's, Architects, Weaponsmiths or Armorsmiths.
Pros:
- Architects and Droid Engineers (and to a lesser extent, Weaponsmiths and Armorsmiths) would no longer have to invest in master artisan to gain these components. In my experience, it's hard to find a master artisan willing to make those parts and the DE's and Architects mostly end up just investing the skill points themselves to save the hassle.
- Many elite crafter professions, who only have Master Artisan for these schematics, would rather use the points for something else. If they give up Master Artisan, they will leave the vehicle business. These professions, therefore, would have to buy vehicles themselves, and would not be competing/dabbling in the vehicle market.
- Master Artisans would not be hassled for components. I only make components for myself or for good friends- they're complicated and suck up factory time. Vehicles are much more lucrative. Many artisans have their hands full with vehicles.
Any thoughts?

I say yes, leave things as they are, I make much of my money from these components.
