Thread: The Real Deal Sample Macro...
How it will play out:
Character stands.
Character loiters for 200 seconds.
Character drops to one knee to start sampling.
Macro repeats.
Character stands.
If you're lagging enough, you may have got a single sample in. Maybe.
Character loiters for 200 seconds regenerating.
Samples again... etc.
A better one would be:
/sample;
/pause 32;
/sit;
/pause 60;
/stand;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot12;
Your character will then start sampling, will dig up two samples, will then sit and rest for 60 seconds (sitting = faster regeneration), stand up again and then start sampling again.
Adjust the 60 according to how fast you regenerate. If you have really high regeneration, sample for longer than 32 seconds, just remember to add a couple of seconds to the end of each 30 seconds period for sampling so it has time to finish the sample.
My macro is:
/sample;
/pause 2;
/stand;
/pause 1;
/sit;
/pause 28;
/stand;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
The 1 second pauses are in there to take care of the slight lag I normally have, also, you can't start sampling from a sitting position, so, hence the /stand bit in there. With the right secondaries, you can regen to full before starting again.
I have 2 accounts so mine gets a lot of use while I am out making money with my combat char.
/stand
/pause 3 (for lag)
/sample
/pause 35 (usually get 2 samples in with MA)
/sit
/pause 30
/ui action toolbarSlotXX (depends on the spot you choose)
This gives me more then enough time to rest off the action/mind use with a human substats set 700 range.
Then when I switch from the forums to check and see the little windows I can wait and click on the (300 action cost) retrive concentration just as I sample the first time. Sometimes I get 4-6 samples after that first one because of it, draining my bars and making me need to wait before I do it again.
