Well, I knew there were some of them, they just arent super common, it seems.
Yesterday I got a tell from a semi-newbie that I hadgiven a little training/teaching to a while back. He asked me to teach him Business 4 and master artisan.
For all of less than one second I considered saying no. Haha, I dont know why, but the thought occurred to me "why should I help him out? Just going to be another MA selling vehicles and taking away my business!" Well, as I said, the thought was quickly dismissed. He took the shuttle halfway across the planet to meet up with me. I taught him what he wanted (no benefit to me, Ive been maxed on AP for a long while now).
"Have fun stealing my customers and taking potential credits from my pocket" I said with a smile.
He laughed and asked what I usually sell. I said mostly vehicles and little things that people request from me, like droid batteries and powerups. Then he asked me how much I sold my vehicles for, then said that he wanted to make sure he wasnt undercutting me when he started to sell vehicles.I thought man, thats a very decent thing to do (I guess he could have been lying about it). I told him that honestly, my prices were on the low end of the scale, and people who buy resources really cant do too much lower, but there were people out there who sell for even less.
Anyways, people might say he is better than me, since some say that I am undercutting other MAs vehicle prices. In actuality, when I first took on artisan, I looked up vehicle resource costs and my production costs, and came up with my own pricing without checking the economy first. Its not like I went out and just went lower than the lowest I could find.
I should have warned him about the cheap-arses out there that lie to you and say "I have somebody who will make me a swoop for 9000 credits."I say "Sure, then go buy it from them. You're most likely lying anyways, since it takes nearly 8000 resource units to build a swoop. Either that, or the person making them is a moron."
Then they say, "Holy cow, now I know why swoops cost so much". Then they end up buying one of my Swoops. hahah.
Whoops...Sorry for the rant.

I don't like under cutting either I wish there was something here that had unform prices for people who made stuff so we could go to it and see what others are charging... I did the price calculator on Tailor and it still seems like I'm under than some people but I really don't know lol... I would like to see what the "servers" are selling items for it'd be nice for those who are just starting too... specially since I just became a master Architect and have NO idea what to sell stuff for lol
