Hey, I am a master artisan and I am 4 skills boxes away from master droid engineer. The best surveying mission I can get is 900 credits, same as when I had nothing but novice Artisan, my friend could get 1800 credit missions before even finishing artisan. Anyone have any idea what's up and how I can get more for my missions?

For some stupid reason, probably cause the DEVs couldn't come up with anything better, Survey mission payouts are based on your weapon skill. To get the highest (1800), you must have at least box 4 in a novice combat class and have that weapon equipped. Its really stupid that thats how it works i know, but its not something thats gonna get changed cause its been there since launch and isn't a "prority issue."

This is from the same Dev team that thought "hologrinding" would be a fun and exciting way to enhance your gaming experience.

You might try grouping with random players at the mission terminals and leech off their skills while you get a mission.

Actually, I think that the "grinding" system was put into the game because the developers thought that people would go about mastering the professions at a normal speed to discover that they really like one so they are going to stick with it instead of deleting all their hard work and starting over on X number of professions before they could become a jedi. I don't think that they envisioned any "hologrinding" at all.

I also remember that they were surprised by the fact that the initial caps on player cities were reached on the first day.

I sometimes wonder if they have ever actually played the "live" game.
