There are some components in the game that can be crafted but do not allow experimentation which means that even low quality resouces can be used to make the same component and behave as an item crafted using good resources. My question is; does the value of the resources used in the non-experimentable component get factored in during experimentation of the final product using said component?
If any knows please respond and let me know.

as far as I know, it does not factor into the final product. When experimenting on items it is the specific quality that matters for that piece, so if experimentation is not allowed, then the resulting products effects on those qualities are irrelevant. Take bone armor for example. The pieces of fiberplast panel you create do not affect the overall quality of the piece because you can't experiment on them, and they don't have stats that would affect the outcome.
Hope that helps.

I know for a matter of fact that in Personal Shield Gens it does not matter on ANY component, including the ones that can be experimented on.

I was hoping more people would reply to this.
I like your example ofbone armor because it is specifically what I was thinking about. Now, the bone armor segments can be experimented on, meaning they can be better or worse than other bone armor segments. How does this affect the final piece of armor? I know the segment has qualities that can affect the outcome, but how? Since the segment was created using bone and metal, and a segment enhancement if you are lucky to have one, which affect the outcome of the segment itself when experimented on. Would it not be logical to assume that those same materials have a direct affect on the final product, or am I wishing for that pie in the sky?
I will do some tests, I will make a bunch of identicle segments using the exact same ingredients. Then I will make a run of armor using the same ingredients only using different fibreplast panels for the two runs. I'll use panels crafted with really good ingredients and then some with below grinding grade ingredients and we'll see if there is a difference.
