Just thought i would give the artisan board the heads up..

As of this week, the answer is now "neither". Very shortly, the JTL Professions portion of the web site will be changed. The design crew has changed the functionality a bit. If you heard the E3 buzz, you might recall us saying, "The Pilot professions will be content oriented, but the Shipwright will be skill point based to balance it with the ground game". Since then, we've changed the profession a bit.


As a result, the web site article on professions will be changing from:

I thought it was important to let you know as soon as was possible.

A fourth new profession, the Shipwright, is a new type of novice profession that won't be a ‘starting’ profession. Look for more details on the Shipwright profession as the saga of the Jump to Lightspeed develops over the summer of 2004!
