I keep picking up Heavy duty leather as loot .Is this stuff actually good for anythign ???/

Thats used in several of the schematics that are given as rewards in the themeparks.
Its a tailor component and they have a "stickied" post about it. if you have several with identical serial numbers they maybe worth auctioning on your trade forum
