I am sure I read somewhere that a new type of survey tool was a reward for one of the new FS quests at the new Village.. but I cant find the post I read it in .. anyone know what it is?

Bio Engineers need the mollusks for tissues. They're in a high demand and no one collects it. My toon sits there for hours collecting.

it's a shellfish harvesting tool and from what I can see there's not much use for it at the moment. It collectsmollusks and crustaceans but I don't know of any schematics that needs those resources specifically ?

I've used it before, it gets collects mollusks / crustaceans while standing in shallow water. I remember when those resources used to sell for up to 100 CPU

There is 2 new survey tools that you can get as quest rewards from the FS crafting quest. They are an inorganic survey tool, and an organic survey tool. They allow you to survey for any inorganic or organic resource, so instead of carrying around a half dozen survey tools you only need these 2. In addition the organic survey tool is supposed to show you the current hides/meats/bones on the planet.

So Scouts get the kick along with Rangers and BH?
You would think there would be something left, for the rangers at least. Jedi surveyers hehe.
Oh well, I'll be glad when the Jedi craze is over. When that is I don't know. I'm babbling...... bye.
