Hello. I have a few other characters, BUT I just created a Mon Calamari artisan. I would like to know how to gain money and ap fast? Because I want to become a politician asap. Any ideas please?

For money as a starting artisan, go take crafting missions in Tyrena (Corellia) where the delivery destination is Vreni Island (South). Each mission "run" will net you ~2k. While waiting for the shuttle, sample materials (preferably the ones you can use to make personal harvesters down the line). The crafting missions give out some XP but you can also grind some items (like CDEFs) while you sample and wait for your ride. If you like to continue with Artisan, go up Engineering first then Domestic (don't touch Business yet until you are 4-4-0-X) then proceed to making Personal Harvesters for even more XP. At Artisan 4-4-0-X, you can make good BER 4 harvesters with good material and sell them at the Bazaar.

If you don't want to continue in Artisan, stop at 2-2-2-2 skill level and pick up Marksman and/or Brawler and Scout and/or Medic. Train them up to at least 2-2-2-2 (except maybe Scout Survival and Trapping). Go to Mos Eisley and start organizing some new player group hunts (training is expensive for them so they'll be glad to have you) or hanging out in the medic center waiting for the "Need training in XXX" shout from them. In addition, picking up the Novice professions and doing the quests from your droid will give you some starting cash as well.

You'll get your AP for Politician sooner, maybe pick up some citizens for your future town (remember those thankful new players you helped get started?), and have a better idea for the other professions you'll want to complement your future Mayor with.

If you decide to stick with Artisan and go Master someday come visit us again.
