Thread: Survey Problem

I had this problem last night. I am on Eclipse, was on Naboo near Theed and looking for a seed called Boraga (sp?). I has just acquired Artisan with this particular toon. Borrowed a flora finder from a friend. Surveyed inside Theed for the seed. It didn't find any. Left Theed , after about 1500m, I jumped off my bike, and ran another survey. This time, I did not receive a message or a wp update. So I hit survey again... no sonic ring, no message, no update. I hit sample to see if I was locked up or something. "You cannot sample while suveying." So I thouhgt maybe it was just taking a bit for the update and waited. Not long of course, I am not that patient. Tried survey again... again no response.
Logged out, in and then tried again.... again, no response. Checked the in game KB and then put in a ticket. Closed my holocron and hit survey again. Got an update that said nothing found. Great it is working again, shouldn't have put that ticket it. Oh well. Went another 500-1000m and jumped down to survey... again no update. Tried sampling and got the same message as earlier. Logged out, waited a couple of minutes and logged back in. Survey, got a message that there was none found. Hit survey again and boom, no update. Updated my CSR ticket, logged and went to bed.
I have not been able to logon yet today, but wanted to see if anyone has seen this problem before. I haven't and have had artisans with no problems. And suggestions?

I've not seen that myself, but I have been seening reports of all sorts of oddities with folks getting 'stuck' with incomplete actions in their queue.
Dunno.
Please let me know if it happens again, or is repeatable. Thanks for the /bug too.

I had the same issue last night on Tempest (also on Naboo). I had all sorts of other weird things, like my speeder not generating, and a friend of mine who I had dueled got stunned 10 minutes later from an /unarmedStun1 of mine! Another friend had taken a mission and completed it - later I got added to his group, and a few minutes later it said the mission was done, so I got money for it. Lots of weird things happening...

I've been having problems with radial menus lately, on all sorts of things. I will open the radial menu to repair my swoop, and the swoop gets stored. I will open the radial on a harvester to look at the main screen, and the add power screen will open. Bank screens open randomly. I've been very conscientious lately to see where my cursor is pointing, and that hasn't helped getting these random actions. Happens with items I have in my inventory, also.

When I logged on last night, I was able to survey properly again and place my harvesters. So either it was some bug that hit me and didn't leave until a reset or it was fixed in the client. I noticed that when I logged in last night there was a launcher update. Not sure if that mattered. Anyway, thanks for the responses.
