Thread: So, we can fly into space, but nobody has invented a bulldozer
It seems really strange that I can fly from planet to planet on a space craft (sometime maybe one I actually own), but I cannot even out a little piece of dirt in order to place my harvesters. One would think that it should not be that difficult to push over a hill or fill in a ravine. It would be nice if you had to pay more to place a harvester on uneven terrain or over a ditch. Also have it take significantly longer to place the harvesters in these areas, but still, one would think if the technology to destroy an entire planet with a beam weapon existed, somebody would have come up with the idea of making a bulldozer....heck we do not even need that fancy of one...a D-8 Cat would do for the work I generally need.
And another thing....why can I not make camps outside of town and meatlumps, the enemy of the people, can. I think whoever is enforcing my no-build codes needs to visit them and let them know that they are in violation of building policy 274 A and must immediately cease and desist.
Just wondering
Ha ha.
I agree. I tried to place some solar generators on Corellia, took me forever. A 5 foot difference from one end of the generator to the other seemed to prevent it.
Umm, because it's a laser bulldozer, with anti-gravity treads! You have to get super-master artisan to make on. ![]()
One of the changes on the test center is allowing people to make camps in no-build zones.
Well see, it's not a technology issue, it's just that most planets have an ordinance against disturbing nature. The thing you can't get past is your uncomprimisingly law-abiding nature.
