Well, that can work against you too, because the same uneducated buyers won't know to use examine to even see that your staff is better than the vanilla ones. And then there's your sellers who are counting on the fact a large percentage of buyers either don't bother with or don't know about examine. The list of reasons why buyers buy what they do or don't is endless, but it mostly boils down to not understanding how to efficiently use the bazaar. And the sellers who use this knowledge to their advantage and profit. And the bazaar having some kind of black hole of logic for where some items are listed (as in Droid deeds are under Misc>Items? huh!?) ... oh gawds, don't get me started on what-all is wrong with the bazaar. <weeps>

Before I set a price for something on the bazaar, I make it a habit to compare prices with similar equipment that's already there. So, I experiment with a reinforced combat staff, and it turns out **edit** fine. 44-90 damage or something close, 5.5 attack speed. I check out the bazaar, and plain vanilla combat staves go for anywhere from 300 to 1000 credits. This was on the whole planet, mind you(tatooine, bloodfin). So, do people not know how to experiment? Do they not know how to choose the right resources? Oh well. More money for me, I guess.
