Wow, some days I log in and the world has completely changed. It's a little disconcerting. The good thing about frequent, massive resource overhauls is that you can more quickly get new and better resources. The bad thing is that you can also find thatfour out of your five harvestors and your wind power generator have beensitting for a day doing nothing but eating your money. Do you think we could use a bit more stability? Lately we've been getting complete turnover in four or five days.

I agree. It should change every like 10 days or so.. but in a gradual way.. You see the new resources come in. and the old leaves(as in availability),

We have had very slow turn overs on starsider and its been great.

People have time to get to know and "recognize" resources. When they change, its more fun and interesting.

I think resources should shift monthly, and not en-masse as they have been but a few at a time.

It would be nice to, once and a while, go off planet and find a good resource that people will want back home, but as it stands it almost seems better to just wait until the resources all change. In any case unless you really know a planet, it's probably not a good idea to put a harvestor down.

Is starsider one of the new ones? Maybe the shift rate depends on how much collecting is done. It seems random, but maybe it's not.

Starsider new? lol It was one of the first servers. Maxed population in about a week of launch. We actually had our first massive shift last week. All the old resources were replaced by new ones overnight. Now Naboo doesn't have a single metal with good overall quality and conduction

Well I'm shocked and amazed... congrats on the long lasting resources!

On Gorath, you're lucky if your resources last seven days! I have pretty much clocked it at that rate for the resource shifts and, let me tell you, it gets pretty annoying moving harvestors around every seven days or so... not to mention expensive.

I think they need to adjust this for all the servers so they all line up because I heard that on most servers the resources shift frequently like on mine. Boy, do I wish we could have a timer like Starsider!
