Before the servers went down this morning, I was sampling polymers with my chemical survey tool. When I logged on just now andwent to survey for the same polymer with the same tool, I no longer have polymers listed on my chemical survey tool list?! Any idea what's going on?

Resorce shift?

Resource shift, usually between tuesday - thursday. Depending on the server.

When you open up the survey tool. It will ONLY list the resources available on that particular planet. If you move to another planet, some of the resources might not show up. Same goes with resource shift.

Thanks. I thought resource shift was more gradual and I didn't know that the material would completely disappear from the survey tool listing.

I've had fiberplast disappear while I was sampling it, so it is an instantaneous thing for a resource to shift. The entire planetary shift may take hours or days, but when it's time for a resource to go it's gone.
