Just a few questions regarding surveying missions.

Firstly if it says I need a 67 spot does that mean exactly 67 or can I say sample on an 80 spot?

Also how long does it usually take? My first mission completed about about 80 units but my second mission is up to 140 units and counting. And yes I have triple check the resource type and density.

I only did a surveying mission once, but I didn't have to sample at all. I was just standing on a spot where the percentage of the needed resource wasas high (or higher) as the percentage that was stated in the mission description, hit the survey button and the mission was completed.

Where do you find a surveying mission?

You get them from NPCs. But I guess there will be special artisan mission terminals in game soon, which provide you with surveying and crafting missions. It's stated on the recent test center update page.
