On Eclipse, we've got an aluminum that's been in shift for 16 days. I thought the longest shift was 14 days, though. What's the max (known) length of a non-creature shift? Do they come in set lengths? (ie, each shift will last 5, 7, 14 or XX days)

I believe the JTL resources are longer than 14 days. 21 maybe?

Oooo, three weeks would be great. It's something I use in big bulk when I use it. Now to get a similar shift of a good neutronium steel. And gravatonic fiberplast. And...

Was eclipse maybe down for a longer time during these 16 days?

I just did a quick study of a couple of the JTL resources for Shadowfire, based on information from swgcraft.com. The average length of time between resource shifts for all spawns of Perovskitic Alum was 17.3 days, and 17.7 days for Gravitonic Fiberplast. So I'm guessing that JTL resources are probably set on about a 17 day rotation, which doesn't include server down time...
