I will readily admit, I'm a n00b to SWG as I have only joined the game some 2 or 3 weeks ago. I am steadily and quickly becoming engulfed by crafting and all that it offers. One thing I have recently been getting interested in , are some of the different vehicles and speeders (I like my V-35.. it's so large it's just goofy!). This post is specifically about the Flash Speeder. I only see a very small number of these on a regular basis it seems.. and they are always sitting around abandoned in Mos Eisley or Daeric , billowing out smoke and flames from the engines.

Can someone explain the 'Flash Speeder' to me? I've recently seen references to it in other posts, stating something about being able to 'generate a Flash Speeder a will' or similar. How do these work, are they crafted or bought? Anyone that could point me at some inforation on these vehicles?

flash speeders were given out as a bonus for those who purchased JTL online before a certain date..

they can not be traded or sold..

if you happen to be the lucky owner of one, you will never be stranded without a vehicle because someone or soething blew up your ride..

a simple /flashspeeder command and 20k will get you a shiny new one

The Flash was a bonus for preordering JTL (Jump to Lightspeed). The account gets a the speeder, and any time they need another they type /flashspeeder or /flash and for 20k credits can get another. I like it because I'm never without a speeder. Let those stupid Wooks agro me even though they are not supposed to... just costs me 20k for another speeder.

I personally have a BARC, a Flash and a V35 in my datapad. A speeder for all occasions.

Ouch it costs 20k credits everytime you summon a new one?

If you lose your flash speeder due to it being disabled, you can "purchase" a new one by typing /flash and paying 20,000 credits.It's a lot cheaper than some of the other speeders out there, and it's not too bad really heh.

You are seeing a lot of them in Eisley I think cause quite a few people are making new chars.. I know I have made a few and they all get a Flash Speeder because I pre-ordered JTL when it came out... so every character I have made has gotten one.

No, only if you have to get a new one.

Once you have it, you can call it as often as you want for free.

It's kinda like being able to purchase a new one from anywhere in the galaxy.

i love my flash speeder because of never being stranded, but it's slow, so i always keep a swoop with me instead.
