Ive been using the Inorganic Survey tool (the one you get as a reward for the village surveying quest) for about 6 months.

Today suddenly it stopped working. I was surveying with it on corellia thenwent to Lok and it didn't work.

I tried re-logging made no difference trieddifferent planetsand then i crafted a new mineral survey tool and it worked fine. the Inorganic one still doesn't work.

Im notget the message that "I begin to survey for x resource" it just doesn't do anything when i click survey.

Anyone else having this problem or is it just me thats bugged?

That has happened to me before with both the inorganic survey tool and with several different regular survey tools. Usually when it happened to me, the next time I logged in it was fixed. Try logging out for 20-30 minutes and see if that doesn't clear it up.
