Thread: Problem initializing vendor

I did a search regarding this problem on these forums and found some fixes other people tried that worked for them.

1) Keep creating and removing vendors until it works

2) Try a different vendor

3) A little trick of moving my mouse pointer off the 'initialize vendor' tab (found that in the Merchant forum)

4) Put in up to 30k of maintainance fees 5k at a time then would try to use vendor each time(my idea :smileyindifferent

5) Created vendor and did not rotate it at all before initializing.

Anyways I am at my wits end. Any pointers on solving this?

My vendor BTW is in another house other than my own. I have admin obviously. And the status window tells me my vendor is operating normally when Ilook at it.

Well I figured it out

I had to create the vendor in my own house first, then go over to the destination house(my store front if you will)and place the vendor. Initialized and running.

If this is the way its always been then I apologize for my ignorance.

For the love of all that is sacred! I went back to my warehouse to retrieve the items I wanted to sell. Came back to my vendor I just initialized in my store front house and guess what? ITS GONE! I decided after MF'n like a blubbering idiot to myself that I should try to create another.

(you already have too many vendors)

I read on the Merchant forums that the dissappearing vendor may be because of a server boundry issue.

Its a good thing I don't have a drinking problem or own a firearm. Because if I did, I would have abused both already.
