O'kay..what is up? I didn't play for about 3-4 weeks over the holidays..just didn't feel like it with everything going on.

I'm working on another profession so i haven't crafted much. But tonight it's time to make some powerups.

I'm a human master artisan, have 14.94 tools and a 42+ crafting station. There is hardly any lag tonight, no packet loss and my ping time is better than usual.

I'm crit failing at LEAST one to two experiment points on each powerup I'm trying to make. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Since I haven't crafted in awhile, i need to ask..did they do something to crit fail rates or what?

was the other profession you were working on combat related? If it was and you died with your crafting tool on you it may have decayed. This is one of the most common reasons for getting a big crit fail increase. I am encountering this myself as i grind up smuggler, everytime I die i have to make a whole new swath of crafting tools if i forget and have them on me. Even the insured 1% decay can have an effect

Hmm...good though..i'll make some new tools and see how it goes....

But really, if it does matter, then the effectiveness of the tool should go down along with the condition.

Here's a clue, put your tpools in a droid when youre done with them.......
