Hi all, I just started a new character as an artisian. I have never been a crafter before and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to earn general crafting xp faster. I am 1001 now and it seems as though grinding muzzles is the way to go. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I am fairly new here as well, and I am pretty close to becoming master artisan...

It is really quite easy to achieve this title... for now my advice is to grind out your crafting until you get engineering III...

I believe the best way to do this is to practice on making the crafting tools...

(someone please correct me if i'm wrong here) I believe the crafting xp is awarded based on this formula (at least it worked until i started making deeds)

complexity * (sum of resources used) / 5

so your muzzle would give:

14 * (6 + 4) / 5 = 28 xp per muzzle (im not sure what the practice bonus is, somewhere around 5% i think)

a specialized weapons crafting tool would give:

11 * (16 + 8 + 10) / 5 = 75 xp per tool...

so keep making those tools until you get engineering III

then just find yourself a crafting station and make personal mineral extractors... these give about 425 xp per deed... So if you have the resources just make these while you are sampling, and the rest of the bars will fill up in no time
