Thread: New Artisan Inspiration Buff Concern
I just posted this in the Entertainer forum:

Artisan -
Increase artisan experience by 12%,
Increase resource quality for artisan crafting by 5%,
Increase assmebly success by 5%,
Increase experimentation success by 5%.
Why are the Artisan bonuses so much smaller compared to the rest of the crafting profession ones from Dancer and Musician?
I mean, I can understand that the experience bonus is smaller since Artisan requires less for their boxes, but the other three bonuses don't make sense. An Artisan doesn't really compete with the other crafting professions, they produce their own unique items and wares...
The Artisan buff should grant 10% for resource quality, assembly, and experimentation as well, in my humble opinion.
Thoughts? Guruweaver?
I don't know why the Artisan bonus was smaller. Part of me wants to say that it was due to the fact that Artisans, unlike the other crafters, can be 14 experimentation point crafters with the bonus Humans get.
I'll let y'all know.

From how I read the info, it's based upon the Entertainers level.
So at just entertainer (not dancer/musician) can do the Artisan buffs. Then upon acheiving novice dancer/musician has the ability to apply the other styles of buffs. An artisan should be able to receive the "any crafting profession buff" without a problem

First, what is this "any crafting profession buff" you speak of?
The "General Inspiration" buff no longer gives a bonus to crafting success
What I read is entertainers will only give a 5% bonus to assembly and a 1% bonus to resource quality for Artisans, yet they give double that to ALL other crafting professions. Since Artisans craft their own unique items, just as all other crafting profs, why do they get lower bonuses?
