This is mainly to inform and so you can explain this to your customers. I know many crafters do not also have combat toons so might not be aware of this fact.

Powerups we can make post-CU for an increase to Damage Mod DO NOT increase the maximum damage based on the percent increase to maximum damage. The Damage Mod pup is calculated based on MINIMUM DAMAGE and then that value is applied to the Maximum Damage.

Example: 500 min - 900 max Elite Carbine.

25% Damage Mod pup applied.

Old system - Max damage goes to (25% x 900 = 225 pts 225pts + 900 = 1,125 new max damage)

New system - Max damage goes to (25% x 500 = 125 pts 125 pts + 900 = 1,025 new max damage)

So, inform your customers that weapons with a high MINIMUM DAMAGE will take the biggest benefit from your pups if using a damage powerup.

I think this was a change some folks were unaware of..........pretty nifty way for the devs to help minimize the impace of pups on weapons.

Thanks!
