Holy megapatch, Batman!

Things I saw:

- Cammo kits usable by everyone

- Multiplayer speeders as craftables! /faint The Existing multi-seaters will get retrofitted to actually hold more than one, plus there are 3 new speeders

- Grenade powerups work again

- Powerups are based on DR now allowing better results

- Powerup uses are experimentable (efficiency)

Plus a lot of tweaks to combat which will improve non-combat survivability. Yay!

I'm a happy Guru!

Congrats guys. I guess it didnt take much for them to take our skills and give them away. Sure, we have to craft em for ya but still. Not ranting at Artisans here just ranting in general.

Lemme know how they work. Kinda curious if wearing a ton of camo clothes and perhaps some camo CA's or AA's work with this....

Anyone have the schematic requirements for the new vehicals yet? TC Dosn't have the frogs out there so I can check them.

I havent been able to find one to buy on TC but judging from the resources required it looks to have the same speed as the X34 speeder. That to me is upsetting because once the novelty of the new speeders wears off nobody will use them. Swoops are the new composite armor... everyone uses swoops only. There needs to be more variety on what we see people use for speeders.

I couldn't have said it better myself! Wow! Multipassenger vehicles!?!!?! They've been telling us ever since vehicles first came out that they couldn't get two people into a vehicle due to tracking issues, but they finally must have figured out a way to do it!!!

BTW what's up with the BARC speeder being on the list of multipassenger vehicles? I thought it was a one person bike? Or did I miss something in Episode III where there's someone riding piggy back?

Edit: Guru, do you think you could get us some word as to whether or not they're going to remove the 3 vehicle limitation with the addition of these new vehicles? I know that I have 2 in my datapad that I don't want to get rid of (my AV and my 100% speederbike from patchday), but I would like to be able to have a couple of the new vehicles in my datapad to show people.

Congratulations.

However, I have one question for you.

Do you think, that Rangers will just go spend their valuable sp just to make CAMO kits for EVERYone to use? It's a whole tree.

It's more efficient to become a jedi (force cloak) or rifleman (conceal) to get off the radar.

Let me see... Ranger 4xxx needed to make all camo kits EXCEPT Dathomir... For that one Master Ranger is needed.

Question 2.

How many MASTER Rangers you think will be left after all of their UNIQUE points have been given out to all other professions? (like conceal, useless camps, the root/snare traps which abilities are now specials to almost EVERY combat profession).

Ow for those saying we still have tracking... Woohoo....

1. It's not always working

2. It is boring.

3. Nobody wants to pay for it, while it takes us a long long, very long time to find something (the way things are implemented)

4. What did you need us to track btw? Krayts? It's more finding a way AROUND the Krayts then to find them. I thought they were supposed to be rather RARE then overflowing tatooine with their presence (same for Kimos). So the only thing to track for are the people for Tatooine's Hero Quest? THE ONLY ONES?????

Ow another one... Harvesting...

Ranger is a huge sp drain. NEeding master scout. A MASTER scout with proper equipment and foods and COMBAT MASTERIES is able to OUTHARVEST a master Ranger due to pure combat and defense skills.

Conclusion:

You might better start asking to move the making of camo kits to the SCOUT skills, so the Master Ranger can finally lead into rest (rest in peace or RIP for short) since there will be few MRangers left aroundto make them at all.

So start buying those kits while you can.

We have been completely replaced, and here is the documentation to prove it

  • Camo:

Riflemen Cover, Jedi Force Cloak, anyone with a Ranger buddy

to make 'em for them

  • Mask Scent:

See above

  • Creature Harvesting:

Harvesting droids, packs oflow-level scouts with Veghash,

creature-harvesting attachments

  • Rescue:

"Pass-through assist." See tuesday's tips for this description.

  • Traps:

Every profession getting "mezzing" and"snaring" effects.

  • Camps:

Pfft, no one gets wounded anymore, and that's all they are good for anyways.

  • Terrain Negotiation:

Attachments, BE tissues, Chef Food: Travel Biscuit, other professions with

the same modifier.

  • Creature Knowledge:

Everyone sees the same f'ing things now!

  • Creature to-Hit bonus:

Chef Food: Gralynin Juice

  • Creature to-damage bonus:

+5? That's not even worth mentioning anymore.

Why do we even bother anymore? Seriously. Consider this list. This is a problem.

Then why DO you guys bother anymore? I mean I know it's hard when a profession you like gets turned into this but there's no reason to cling to it if you know nothing's going to change for a while.

If you go to the Ranger forum ever...

General concept behind Ranger is: it's not a profession, it's a lifestyle.

However this lifestyle has been cut out from under our believes (mine at least), and according to the flabergasted rangers I'm not the only one...

Just as I said... try to get your kits now while you can. Likely Rangers will be dropping like flies and respec to something else. If you have alts, respec them to master ranger and only use camo's. Then you understand truely what we are going thru.

Unfortunately, the only people who are even going to need these kits are people below level 65. Level 80s have no use for them because gray con mobs aren't going to aggro anymore.
