Thread: survey help needed plz

hi around 8 months ago i ground out survey on my char using a macro, but it kept stopping due to the pop up boxes taht appear now and then.
i am now at artisan 444x on my alt and about to try hit master but im wondering is there any way to block the pop up or get rid of it or anything?

If you just stand up, then resample every 28 seconds or so, you will be fine. The popups will still show up, but since you are stopping and starting a new sampling cycle, the old popups won't stop you from sampling. You will just have to delete them all when you come back to your computer.

Include a /stand; in your current surveying macro, or use the line /ui action defaultButton to have it actually click the ok button and extract the resource.

im trying to include a stand in my macro but it isnt working... anyone know why this is happening and its ignoring the command.

try this
/sample;
/pause 5;
/stand;
/pause 3;
/sit;
/pause 25;
/stand;
/macro sample;
i been using it all day yesterday and works a treat, find an artisan trainer and then find the highest concentration of anything withing 50m or so and just camp there, i did survey 1 and 2 and half of 3 in about 3 hours or so last night

or just /respec it 
i did the survey grind before, hated it. so when my alt went art, i just respec'd that part of it and grinded the reset of it.

only chars created before the cu can respec, my alt was created during the bonus exp period therefore cant respec

I had master architect. I respec'd to master weaponsmith then reground architect because I was familiar with it. However, with artisan xxx4, I can put on a surveying macro and walk away. Every few hours, or the next morning, Id come back and be ready to train it. survey and find the highest concentration that you can find for any resource you can gather by hand and go for it!
