Double Xp till Tuesday. Cool. BUT

Will that apply to Crafting XP as well? I hope so. Its a bear right now with only 19-24 XP an item.

Holiday weekend? I'm canadian.. so my holiday weekend was this past monday... wish i could have gotten double xp then too.

Anyway, what are you crafting that gives you only 19-24 per item?

If you craft simple shirts, or the general crafting tool, you should get 42xp per item... (that is with the inspiration buff, but i'm not sure if that matters).

Once you get engineering 3, crafting wind harvestors... i think i got around 442xp per craft... (something around there, can't remember the exact #)..

With double xp (when i did do some crafting), i obviously got double the xp.. 84 and 884 respectively... It makes grinding MUCH faster..

Good luck.

You get nice XP from any installation deeds, which can be crafter once you get Engineering IV

You get the Wind installation deed at Engineering 3... others at 4 yes, but the one at 3 makes it quicker to definately grind through...

Yeah thats true. I was doing Complexity Level 11-14 items like barrels, muzzles, scopes, fireworks type 11s, etc. I should try simple shirts and generators. Man thats alot of resources though....lol. I NEVER keep aluminum around much lol.

If you have the funds, generally you can find grinding quality Steel, Aluminum and Ore on almost any galaxy (i tried this with my alt on both Bria and Gorath) and was able to find the grind quality... and those were usually on the bazaar... Once i got those, then i whipped through artisan 444x very fast... (maybe half hour?)...

The general rule of thumb with xp is that whatever the items you are crafting, is the # of resources x 2... Except for some vehicles (swoop and x34 i tried didn't give me the same xp rule as with the rest of the items in general crafting).

I forgot to mention that i use practice mode as well (which adds, i believe 10% more xp per craft)...

Okay. What are you crafting for 19-24 xp, is that the generic tools? If it is, then that's the way to go. But you only need like 1 or 2 boxes in engineering to be able to start making (craft for practice) better items. Personal harvesters will get you where you need to be in no time.

You get an xp bonus when you craft in practice mode. But for any profession that you have to craft to gain level, you should pretty much count on a 1 unit of resource per experience needed to reach whatever level your aiming for. Hey you need about 1 mil xp to master architect. You do the math. lol

Then they seriously need to address that ratio. If I only get 24 xp for using 24 resources...then combatants need to get the same nerf bat.
So if I fight a grog and I take 14 shots to kill it. I should only get 14 pistol XP. its only fair unless they plan to respec and help us crafters soon

If it works like it did last time (and I expect that it will), ALL XP will be doubled.

If you're grinding in the village, your FS XP will be doubled as well.
Now would be a good time to do it because it essentially changes the general crafting ratio to 1:2.5 (from 1:10)
