You have to make light food additives from the Bio-additive first.(The receipe is just the Bio-additive and water) but I think you'll need some Chef skills to make them (or find a Chef willing to make you a schematic)
the light food additive goes into the final food.
the light food additive goes into the final food.

The schem for the light food additive is available in Dom Arts IV, so you won't need chef skills to make enhanced artisan foods.

How do you get Light Food Bio-Component? Is it craftable or a loot?

It's crafted by bioengineers. But "Light food bio-component" is a class of tissues, you won't find anything with that name. For each "size" category, there's a tissue for each of the four food experimentation categories:
- Light foodbio component(used in a light food additive)
- Carboreductive catalyst: reduces filling 5-15%
- Multisaccharide Dimate: increases flavor (duration) 10-30%
- Micronutrient Supplement: increase nutrition (buff size) 30-60%
- Hyper Yeast Additive: increases quantity (stack size) 100-200%
- Medium food bio component (used in medium food additive)
- Caloric Conversion Supplement: reduces filling 15-25%
- Multisaccharide Tetramate: increases flavor 30-50%
- Broad Spectrum Nutrient: increase nutrition 60-90%
- Hyper Yeast Additive: increases quantity 200-300%
- Heavy food bio component (used in heavy food additive)
- Carbocaloric Eliminator: reduces filling 25-35%
- Multisaccharide Pentamate: increases flavor 50-70%
- Intelligent Nanonutrient: increase nutrition 90-120%
- Edible Nano Constructors: increases quantity 300-400%
A particular BE may or may not know all the intricacies about what tissue goes into which additive (although most do), so it's generally best to know the tissue name you're looking for.

This is very helpful, thanks!
I don't know anything about Bio-Engineers, but obviously I should...
