Thread: They removed resource name from the title?

Ok before publish 17 on vendors it showed Steel (Siweeg) 4598 with the name and quantity. Anyone else notice it just now says steel, or whatever resource type it is. This makes it 1000x harder to search for resources! Before all I had to do was go to www.swgcraft.com, find a good resource, look up the name on global search and boom I'm off to buy it. Now I can't search for the resource name so I'm supposed to go to every steel vendor and look for a specific type of resource? This will take many many hours. Please bring resource names back!

Oh phew! It's a bug. Wait a sec. . . that means it won't be fixed for a few weeks right?

No idea.
When this happened after the CU, the fix was to unlist and relist all your items from your inventory (not stockroom).
I do not know if a fix is coming from dev-land or not, but doing this will correct the issue.

I did notice though that now, instead of having to double click and open an item to view it, you can just hover your mouse over the item, and it will display the item in a popup... I don't know if this is new to Pub 17, although i don't recall it prior to Pub 17...
I don't know how vendor searching works in this case, but at least that's a little helpful.

There was a similar bug once, i think when they mini-revamped the merchent prof (adding the item limits and all). I think they've hotfixed it a few days later without the need to restock.
