Artisan Archive

Been a while since I was an artisan, but since my Holo said I have to be an armorsmith, I started up the engineering line again. Like a lot of people I'm using multiple generic tools, or should I say, trying to use multiple generic tools to craft more than one item at a time. Only now I get errors and the crafting session ends if I try to run more than one at a time in practice mode. Did something change regarding artisan grinding that I evidently missed??

If one tool finishes its cycle while you are still loading the next one, both sessions end. I have heard that this only happens while grinding crafting tools, but I don't know that for a fact. If you time things right, you can still keep two or three tools going manually. Not sure if you can get the timing right with a macro though.

Well I know one thing.. I lose my materials when this happens!

Oh yeah, that's for sure. That is why I don't know if the problem happens with more complex items. I always make sure that I can load the second tool before the first one finishes. If I can't get it done in time, I wait. Not about to lose the resources.

I've been using 2 generic craft tools to produce air rifles, and havent had this problem once in the week i have been doing it. One tool gets a timer and by the time i finish preparing the second its gone so that might be a factor

hmm i've run multipule tools at once an i havent experinced any problems, but then agian i don't macro i prefer the old fasion way do it yourself it fells so much more satisfiying SP to tired to care if its wrong.
