Searching for how to repair vehicles, I find references to Garages. If you park near a Garage, you will see a Repair option on the radial menu.

So who makes these garages?

Also, can I call a vehicle anywhere, anytime? Or only where I can call pets?

Garages are already in all the major towns, they are just decorations currently. But as the 20meg Vehicle patch gets pushed out in phases expect them to be operational on release day. Not sure how they will work but I'm gonna make an assumption that you would have to enter the garage, click onvehicle to bring up the radial menu and then selectrepair tab.

Do I have to be in a garage to call a vehicle? that would suxor!

Calling a Vehicle follows the same rules as for calling any pet; you must be outside in a city, or in a camp.

There will be Garages for player cities that can be made by Architects, but they aren't on Test right now so I don't know when they will be live. This is a major problem because there currently are no static city Garages on the "advanced" planets...

So I'm going to have to pop open a camp before I can climb into my X34 to leave, huh? Anyone else think that's kinda dumb?

that's duct tape... D U C T... not DUCK... duct as in those big metal hollow box like tubes that run through buildings that the air from airconditioners flows through to heat or cool the building. Also shown in movies with people crawling through then to get from one part of the building to another to either kill someone one or escape from someone who is trying to kill them.

No I'm not **edit** just a little peeved the servers shut down 4 hours early tonight when I still had lots to do.

Kinda really dumb, yah. I think we're saddled with silly Pet coding; I hope the Devs can eventually sort it all out. What makes sense for attack pets, combat droids, and faction "pets" doesn't make sense for vehicles, mounts, or non-combat droids.

I think "space tape" would be a great addition to the game, for making temporary repairs.

Having to call a vehicle in a campis no more stupid than being able to store it in your pocket.

There is a Duck brand tape.

I guess i should sell factory crate camps on bazzar after patch to make some money if folks will have to use them for there vehicles

Unfortunately the only people who can use camps are the ones who can make them, Scouts. Though you will come across a few that like the convenience of crated camps, it took me a good while to sell the few crates I had on my Droid vendor.

But then again, any extra help you give your customers is just good service
