Artisan Archive

I want to start off by saying that I have NEVER had novice artisan so that showes you how much Crafting XP that I have. THe only things I have ever crafted ingame are Stim-A's, Camps, Traps, andf Spice. I tried using the wonderful "Search" option with the forums and the FAQ sectionbut couldn't find a clear answer.

My question is easy:

How do you make crates of items?

The only way to get a crate is to use a factory.

Are there any public factories or would I need to purchase one? Are there specific types of factories?
