Artisan Archive

I want to get into a crafting profession to make some moeny. I dont play that often and i would have access to a very large amount fo resources. I dont want to bother with the elite because my buddy said i would not be competitive with out experimintation tapes. Is artisan the same way? Also can I make some money with this profession just making swoops PuPs and componets for DE and WS please let me know

It's lucrative, but not as lucrative as a Master Elite profession. You just stated the main ways to make money with an Artisan.

Your buddy mis-characterized the competition re Master Elite professions. You can do just fine as a Master Elite without experimentation tapes, providing the resources you use are on par with everyone else's.
