Thread: Question About Personal Harvesters

That being: Are personal harveters supposed to stop working when you log off? They work when I am on line, as I can sit there and check the harvester bin, and the mineral that I am mining goes up, but when I log off, it doesn't increase. I check it right before I log off, and it only goes up a few increments before it stops.
It is not a case of low mineral density, as it is dolomite steel and my harvesters are sitting in an area that is seventy to eighty percent mineral density. What am I doing wrong?

Enough maintence and enough power? or your character might be bugged.

I thought the same thing when I first started mining, but it turned out I had miscalculated by a factor of 10 or so the amount that should be brought in over a certain period of time. Personal harvesters are slooooow. I have one on an 85% patch of class 7 rad on Corellia, and it's only gotten 10k in about 4 days. Mind you it's one I made myself and not a "top of the line" personal harvester. If you're getting a 4 on your extraction rate, then you could get about 5760 in 24hours. I think. Definitly check status and make sure you have ample power and maintinance in the unit. If it doesn't go up *any* then yeah, you got a bug. Oh .. and make sure you turn it on. Heh, I made that mistake the first time. Its a little button at the top of the "Operate Machinery" pannel.
