Hey guys! I am not a noob to the game, but definatly a noob to crafting. I am looking to master Artisan, and have nearly done so. I am 4/4/4/0. I hear surveying xp can be a pain. Question is, is there a good macro to help me along the way somewhere? I suck at making macros, so I know nothing of them. I read through alot of the information stickied here, but nothing onsurvey macro. Unless I missed it...

Any help would be great!

Well it's not a macro, but I did surveying by getting a doc to buff my stamina and constitution (regen rates).

I swallowed a brandy (just 1) and found a good spot. Hit /sample and away your toon goes. It's even semi-afk as you only need to watch for the you found a better conc / you see a big sample messages that pop up. I do not know a way around them or you could do this afk if you wanted to.

For level 1 and 2 you will need training quite quickly. Level 3 and 4 takes well like forever :-) - also find a chef for the + sampling food, and the food that pays extra exp. It's not much but when you only getting 30-35 exp per sample, the extra 1 and 2 that (ormachek?) gives is worth it - all adds up.

When servey goes back up I can give you my survey macro. First you should do as has been said and get buffed and take brandy REALLY helps. Then to get over having to watch the screen for those messages you use the macro. If you don't then when the message comes, your character won't survey anymore until you choose yes or cancel.

OK looked in the file for the macro.

/sample;

/pause 3;

/stand;

/pause 5;

/macro survey

call the macro survey. Change the pauses to whatever you want. Theses are low numbers 'cause I was always buffed when using it.

Using the macro stops the popup box interupting your survey. It will still come up but it won't stop your character from surveying meaning you can go AFK.
